Bergen-Lafayette homes change hands in two very different conditions. On one side are the 1870s-1890s brownstones and brick rowhouses on the side streets off Communipaw Avenue, many just restored, some sold with a previous owner's decades still sitting in the built-ins and behind the radiators. We go floor by floor and finish with the level nobody checks.
